Is there a fee to drop off electronics?
Most standard electronics are accepted at no charge. Some items - like large CRT monitors - may carry a small processing fee. Contact the drop-off location directly to confirm before bringing a large volume.
Do I need an appointment to drop off?
No appointment needed for small quantities during business hours. For larger loads, it's recommended to call ahead so staff can prepare space and assist with unloading.
Will I get a certificate of recycling at the drop-off?
The drop-off location provides a receipt. For formal Certificates of Recycling suitable for corporate compliance, use our free business pickup service.
Can I drop off data-bearing devices like hard drives?
Yes, hard drives and other data-bearing media are accepted. If you require a Certificate of Data Destruction with serial numbers, schedule a business pickup instead - we offer NIST-standard data destruction with documentation.
I'm a business. Should I use drop-off or pickup?
For most businesses, the free pickup service is more convenient and provides better documentation. Drop-off is best for individuals or very small quantities. Pickup is free, we come to you, and you receive formal certificates.
